The assessment of your needs, challenges and growth opportunities will involve four component areas:

Business Needs:Your organization's goals, objectives and strategies.
Examples of Business Needs include growing sales and revenue, improving profits, increasing productivity and efficiency, enhancing customer service levels, improving retention, building market share, and minimizing waste/defects.

Performance Needs:The behaviors employees must demonstrate and the actions they must take to achieve desired business results.
A Performance Need will indicate what individual team members, departments, and divisions must do more of, better, and differently to improve their performance. The development of emotional performance including self awareness, regulation, and resiliency are included in Performance Needs.

Learning Needs:The skills, tools, techniques, and knowledge that employees must have in order to perform successfully.
Learning needs include an understanding of roles, responsibilities, customers, goals, and the business strategy that will enable performance.

Work Environment Needs:The systems and processes that support the infrastructure of your organization.
Work Environment needs include culture, geographic impacts, values, and the economic, social and political forces on an organization.
