Michael Saletta's Training and Development Biography

Beginnings

For over 20 years as an Organization Development specialist and more recently as a Management Consultant Michael has helped businesses to create breakthroughs in their performance. His passion for transforming organizations and people began early in life with his involvement in public speaking and network marketing. Those experiences introduced him to two very important energies in his life; firstly, his fascination with the beautiful complexity of collective human effort and secondly, the powerful potential for growth that is always waiting to be unleashed in each human being. Michael found those two dynamics intriguing, stimulating and rewarding enough that he made them the calling of his life journey.

Major Experience and Growth

In his career, Michael has had three formative learning experiences. These experiences supplied both, the raw material of intellectual content (the science) as well as the hands on experience (the practice) that allows us to test what we learn in order to 'make it our own'. Those experiences were; Citibank, LVVWD (Las Vegas Valley Water District) and more recently Rapport Leadership International. Citibank, the first of these three, expanded Michael's understanding and knowledge in a hundred different ways. At Citibank he developed traditional corporate expertise in marketing, customer service, production, and leadership development and later at LVVWD he refined and perfected that experience with certifications from leading Corporate Training Companies, (DDI, Forum, and Stephen Covey). While here, Michael delivered up to twenty six courses, including strategic planning, conflict resolution, leadership development and all varieties of custom training. These 'strictly' corporate experiences prepared Michael with keen understanding of where the industry was at in terms of quality and results for customers. Michael came to understand that corporate training as a corporate tool had great potential but fell short on the results.

His next 'growth area' involved becoming a Master Trainer for Rapport Leadership International, and within a year he moved into the Director of Custom Training. His unprecedented success in that role was rewarded eighteen months later with a promotion to President and CEO. Customers who worked with Michael were amazed at the difference they saw in their business - longtime business owners were seeing breakthroughs they previously believed to be impossible. Later Michael's role within the company grew to the point where he became the co-owner of the international training company.

The international leadership training company worked with over 10,000 companies and impacted more than 250,000 individuals. During these 9 years, Michael worked with some of the most talented trainers and top businesses in the world providing performance-based training in areas of leadership, communication, team building and sales. Their training also went beyond the business world and into academic institutions to impact high schools and universities. Beginning in 2004, their leadership programs were integrated into the undergraduate and graduate course curriculums at CIMBA University in Asolo, Italy.

New Directions

In January 2009, Michael sold his interest in Rapport in order to launch "Saletta Leadership" and to bring his style and design of training, coaching, and consulting expertise more directly to his global clientele. While building Saletta Leadership, Michael has continued to partner with CIMBA University in Asolo, Italy and Dr. Al Ringleb, the Executive Director of CIMBA University. Dr. Ringleb is a leading researcher and pioneer in the implementation of neuroscience into the field of performance improvement through coaching, training and development. This collaboration includes another respected name in the Training and Development Industry, Kepner-Tregoe (KT), and their President and CEO, Andrew Graham. For more than 50 years, KT has been providing proven management methods to thousands of businesses in over 40 countries in the areas of issue resolution, process improvement and strategic decision making.

CIMBA University, KT and Saletta Leadership have combined forces to bring the most cutting edge leadership and organization development products to the world. Based in neuroscience and performance-based training methodologies, this alliance has created, Synago - Global Leadership Institute. Their current project called 'Genesis' will be brought to the market in 2010 to provide the most comprehensive leadership development program yet developed. Synago (Greek for "Leading Together") will simultaneously 'crack the code' for the effective development of leadership and the sustainable improvement of performance behaviors. The future is exciting.
